The Wiseman's Revolt
Once upon a time in a faraway land there was a Chinese wiseman and his disciple. One day, during his travels, he saw a hut in the distance.
As they approached, they noticed that the house was being lived in even though it was extremely run down.
In that desolate land with no trees and no crops, a man lived with his wife, three young children and an emaciated, tired looking cow.
Hungry and thirsty, the wiseman and his disciple asked to be allowed to rest for a few hours and were well received.
At one point, while he was eating, the wiseman asked:
- This is a very poor land, faraway from everything. How do you survive?
- Do you see that cow? It’s our livelihood, said the head of the family. We drink the milk she gives and also make cheese from it. When there are leftovers, we go to town and exchange the milk and cheese for other foods. This is how we live.
The wiseman thanked them for their hospitality and left. As soon as they had turned the first bend in the road, he said to the disciple:
- Go back, take the cow, lead it over to the cliff over there and push it off.
The disciple could not believe what he was hearing.
- I cannot do that, master! How can you be so ungrateful? The cow is all they have. If I throw it off the cliff, they won’t survive. Without the cow they die!
The man, as all Chinese wisemen do, just took a deep breath and repeated the order:
- Go over there and push the cow over the cliff.
Outraged, but resigned, the disciple returned to the hut and quietly led the animal to the cliff and pushed. And obviously, the cow died from the fall.
Years passed by, yet the regret of the disciple remained.
One spring day, racked with guilt, he abandoned the wise old man and decided to return to that same spot. He wanted to see what had happened to the family, help them, apologize and somehow make amends.
As he came around the turn in the road, could not believe what his eyes saw. In place of the run down hut there was a wonderful house with many trees, a swimming pool, an imported car in the garage, and satellite dish.
Around the barbecue were three robust teenagers along with their parents celebrating the victory of making their first million dollars. The disciple's heart sank.
What happened to the family?
Hunger must have forced them to sell their land and leave. At that very moment, he thought, they must be begging on some city street corner.
He then approached a household servant and asked if he knew the whereabouts of the family that had lived there several years ago.
- Of course I do. You're looking at them - the servant said, pointing to the people around the barbecue.
Amazed, the disciple pushed open the gate and came near to the pool where he recognized the same man as before, only stronger and dignified, a happier woman and children who had turned into healthy adolescents. Startled, he turned to the man and said:
- What happened? I've visited this place with my teacher a few years ago, and this was a miserable place. There was nothing. What did you do to improve your lives in such a short period of time?
The man looked at the disciple, smiled and replied:
- We had a cow that was our livelihood. It was everything we had.
But one day she fell over the cliff and died. To survive, we had to do other things and develop skills that we did not even know we had.
And so, in our search for new ways to survive, we are today much better off than we were before.

By faith, the revolt of the Righteous

Because of His spiritual nature, Jesus was a Man of Revolt. He couldn’t have been any different; after all, He was possessed by the Spirit of Righteousness and would never submit to the dominion of the spirit of unrighteousness.

Everyone who possesses the Spirit of God is revolted against moral and spiritual corruption. For such people, it is unacceptable to have the Spirit of God and at the same time be subject to the injustices that come from hell.

Although God allows these things to happen, it does not mean they are His will. On the contrary, God has allowed the enemies of righteousness to attack His children, the children of Righteousness, so they can revolt against, fight and overcome them.
This will awaken the faith of those who are sincere, yet are being misled. It will allow them to see that there is a Living, Almighty God ready to deliver them.
This happened in the past. The Promised Land was not a free gift. Although it was a guaranteed promise, it had to be taken by force, that is, its conquest cost many lives. However, as the children of Israel moved forward, they took possession of that territory.
God’s presence with them did not mean their journey would be easy.

Today, it is no different. It has not been any different in my life either.
Just as God exists, I know He is with me. However, my journey has never ever been easy. I am sure that you know at least one person who hates me, don’t you?

One fine day, many years ago, I complained to the Lord, “Why has everything been so difficult for me? You know what my goals are and whom I am fighting for. Why must I face so many unfair obstacles?” At that very moment, the Holy Spirit answered, “The battle may be fierce, but victory is certain.” I immediately regained my strength and gave it my all. After all, I did not have, nor do I have anything to lose.

So here is some advice for all those who persecute me: I will break through! And whatever laws try to stop me will serve as a stepping stool for me to climb even higher.
And if my Lord allows you to kill me, know that the seeds I have sown will bear much more fruit than when I was alive.

God bless those who have a living faith in the Living God!

The Kingdom of Heaven IS NOT TAKEN BY EFFORT!
The best and most respected translations of the Bible say the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.

Whenever we talk about showing an effort, we often think that any small attempt will be enough to take hold of it.
It’s not! A thousand times, no!
This is what evil forces want us to believe. My dear friends, do not be deceived! If we do not put forth all of our strength and overcome 100% of our will, we won’t get in.

In order to conquer the Kingdom of Heaven you must fight with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength.

The New King James Version says: "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11.12

If you are truly sincere about wanting to take hold of the Kingdom of Heaven, let go of your violin and pick up the sword, holding it firmly at all times.
Your salvation depends on the use of the sword of the Spirit until the day you die.

We are constantly at war against hell.

There is no peace, bargaining or calling a truce with him. It is life or death.

"And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly." Romans 16:20

God bless those who believe!
‘It’s too hard, Bishop.
I want to follow Jesus, I want to make things right, I want to go back to my first Love, but...’

Right after this, he presents a long list of reasons why he is unable to go back.

He reminds me of when David visited Prophet Samuel and told him how King Saul was cruelly persecuting him, to the point of killing all the priests that helped him.

Samuel comforted him by saying: The Lord did not say that your journey would be easy. He only said that He would be with you.
This is a fact that Christians should never forget.
The Lord Jesus never promised to pave the way for His followers. If His journey was arduous and difficult, why would ours be any different?

Read and meditate on the following verses:
"Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it."
Matthew 10.32-39

Whoever thinks that obtaining the salvation of his soul is going to be easy is better off throwing away his Bible and forgetting about Jesus.
Getting into the Kingdom of Heaven is not going to be a piece of cake.

The cowardly, the weak, the indefinite, the lazy, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur, which is the second death. Revelation 21.8

The original text that teaches about taking possession of the Kingdom of God says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11.12

An easy-to-read translation of this exact verse says, “From the time of John until now, people try hard to break into the kingdom of heaven. And strong people take hold of it.”
A person who thinks can easily see a big difference between the original text, which is difficult, harsh and heavy, and the easy-to-read translation, which is easy, soft and light.
Trying hard is not enough.
What really matters is taking hold of the Kingdom of God.
Those who want to take possession of the Kingdom of God must be aware of its natural difficulties. It’s war!
In order to take hold of the Kingdom of God we must overcome the kingdom of hell.
We must overcome—or rather conquer it.
A conqueror is not an adventurer, and an adventurer is not a conqueror.
Whilst adventurers make an attempt, conquerors take possession.
Conquerors stand out because of their determination. They’re idealists by nature; obstinate concerning their belief; persevering in their faith, firm and consistent when making decisions. They are not afraid of death; in fact they are always ready to sacrifice everything for what they believe in.
Conquerors are obedient. Disciplined, but violent.
They don’t feel sorry for doing what needs to be done.
They don’t care about the opinion of others.
Their emotions are subject to reason.
This was the spirit of Abraham, Joshua, Caleb, Jephthah, David and his three mighty men.
The Spirit of God is after people like them.
The Kingdom of God suffers violence because only the conquerors take hold of it.

Tried everything

Sometimes despair takes over and you think there's nothing more you can do. You've tried everything, or so you think. A voice hammers your brain telling you the best solution is to give up or do something crazy.

Stop.

The good news is there's always something you haven't tried yet. The bad news is I don't know what it is. But (good news again) I know someone who does.

Right now, right there where you are, call upon God with all your faith and sincerity. Ask Him for help, guidance, a way out.

You will find it.

Go ahead. It won't cost you anything. But it could save your life.
