Mount Hermon

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing – life forevermore.” Psalm 133
Though short, this Psalm is meaningful, precious and powerful.
At first glance, it speaks about peace among brothers.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
These ‘brethren’ are the children of God.
Undeniably, there are conflicts between the children of the flesh, children from different fathers, children from different denominations, children of religion and finally, among the children of the world.
However, there is never conflict between the true children of God.
Do you know why?
Because they are all born of the Spirit of God and have the Same Spirit.
How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
This is only possible when there is only One Spirit.
It is impossible to have a bad character, be envious, selfish, cruel, greedy, worldly and the like.
Instead, they are all made in the image and likeness of the Almighty; they possess His DNA. They are children of the Same Father.
This is why they are considered a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light... 1 Peter 2.9
How could a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people that may proclaim the virtues of the Lord Jesus if they are hot-tempered, jealous, selfish, cruel, greedy, spiteful, gossipers, liars and worldly?
Impossible! This would not make any sense, would it?
The children of God live in perfect peace and harmony.
They are like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing – life forevermore.
Mount Hermon represents the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.
The precious Oil upon the head is the Holy Spirit upon the Head of the Church – Jesus.
Aaron represents the Lord Jesus Christ, the High Priest of the New Covenant, Hebrews 9.11-15.
The oil that runs down on the beard and the edge of his garments is the anointing of the Lord Jesus, which is poured out upon His Church: the children that He created through His Spirit.
The Dew of Hermon symbolizes the waters that irrigate the hills of Zion, or the New Israel.
From a physical point of view, there are three springs of water on Mount Hermon that form from the Jordan River. All of Israel’s water supply depends on this Mountain, which is also called Mount of Consecration.
From a spiritual point of view, the eternal life of God's children depends on this Sacred Mountain; in other words, the Church, in which the gates of hell will never prevail.
There the LORD instructs, commands, determines, imposes His blessing and gives life forevermore (eternal life).
On April 14th, we will be celebrating the last day of the feast of the Fast of Daniel, with the anointing and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be at the peak of Mount Hermon, the Mount of Transfiguration, holding out our hands and determining the blessing, forevermore, for all the people of the UCKG and all those who believe.
May those who believe be blessed!

Revolt x Compliance

AT THE AGE OF 80, *BARZILLAI WAS TIRED...
The king said to Barzillai, "Come across with me to Jerusalem, and I will provide for you while you are with me in Jerusalem."
But Barzillai said to the king, "How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king to Jerusalem?”
I am today eighty years old. Can I discern between the good and bad? Can your servant taste what I eat or what I drink? Can I hear any longer the voice of singing men and singing women? Why then should your servant be a further burden to my lord the king? 2 Samuel 19.33-35
(*) This old, compliant man was being called to live at the palace, yet he gave excuses...
ON THE OTHER HAND, AT THE AGE OF 85, *Caleb...
And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the LORD spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.
As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. Joshua 14.10-11
(*) This old man was invigorated and asked to go to war because he was revolted.
REVOLT PRESERVES OUR LIFE, IT BRINGS VICTORIES. WHILE COMPLIANCE PRESERVES DEATH, AND LEADS TO LOSE.
Which one do you choose?

In the Spirit…

"I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet..." Revelation 1.10
You can only hear the voice of God and obey it when you are in the Spirit.
And what does it mean to be in the Spirit?
Is it possible to be in the Spirit when everything is in your favor? No.
Is it possible to live in the Spirit while your flesh savors all the pleasures of this world? No.
Therefore, how can you be in the Spirit?
1 - When your mind meditates in the Word of God or when your thoughts are subjected to the thoughts of the Almighty;
2 - When meditating on the Word requires sacrificing the visual and audible things of this world. This means becoming blind and deaf to everything that is going on around you. Abstinence of the Internet, TV, movies, literature and any secular entertainment that distracts the mind from the things of the Spirit.
It is certainly difficult. Just like the salvation of the soul is difficult.
The Lord Jesus says:
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7.13-14
Indeed, there have been few who sacrifice the comfort of the wide gate, the easy path of the kingdom of this world, to ensure entry into the Kingdom of Heaven through the narrow gate. This is why only a few have received the plenitude of the Holy Spirit.
But there is no other option, anyone who wants to pay the price to receive the Spirit of God has to sacrifice, they must abstain from the lusts of the flesh.
The Fast of Daniel is intended only for those that are thirsty of the Spirit of God.

A pure conscience

"Having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck," 1 Timothy 1.19
In order for us to be successful during the progress of our salvation, with the objective of reaching the end with our faith in full swing, it is extremely necessary that we maintain a good conscience every day – which means that we must carefully examine our own actions and feelings.
Conscience is a voice that speaks deep within mankind. It cries out when it’s being tainted by sin. With a bad conscience, your faith becomes inhibited, causing doubt to manifest itself along with insecurity and fear.
Many who were once among us, but today find themselves a part from God, fallen in the world, rejected this voice, because "...the spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron..." 1 Timothy 4.1-2
With a good conscience, we have conviction to enter the "Holy of Holies" (Hebrews 10.19-22), like we also have the conviction to: "... proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound," Isaiah 61.1
A pure conscience is an essential nutrient for maintaining the vital functions of our supernatural faith, therefore let’s do as the Apostle Paul, "I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men," Acts 24.15-16
Assistants, fight to keep a pure conscience, by sanctifying yourselves every day, in order to: "present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babbling, for they will increase to more ungodliness," 2 Timothy 2.15-16
God bless you.

Boldness

After being baptized with the Holy Spirit, many think they should respect the disrespect of those who go against our faith. They think that we should cower when confronted by their affronts.
Because of this, they nourish their shyness as if it were the "god" of reverence. They become Christians that are cowardly, timid, shy, and helpless when faced with life's challenges.
I ask those who were sealed with the Holy Spirit:
Where is the power of the Holy Spirit? Do you think it is the Holy Spirit, or your cowardly spirit that becomes evident when you’re faced with life's challenges?
You don’t even need to answer this question because the answer is obvious.
The Holy Spirit respects the decisions we make. He does not force or prevent us from doing what we want to do.
This is why we see people that are weak, cowardly and fearful in the Church. They profess the name of Jesus, but live a life that is contrary to the faith.
And they continue saying: "God understands!", "God will provide...", etc..
Hey, psiu!! That is not true, my dear reader!
We must understand that we are the ones that should express our faith in God. It is not a matter that God must understand. Stop looking for a scapegoat to carry the loads you do not want to assume.
Those who have the Spirit of God have the power to overcome any obstacle caused by their feelings. They are powerful! They are not perfect, but have the authority to cast out demons, and even more: their own emotions!!

The madness of faith

With great sacrifice, you manage to buy a new car, but when you turn the key in the ignition, it does not start.
What will your reaction be?
Do you peacefully start fasting and praying to solve the problem, or revolt against the situation and go after your rights?
You work hard all month long, but when its time to get your paycheck, your boss says that he is unable to pay you.
What do you do?
Go complain about it to God or take your boss to court?
Of course you are going to choose the second option.
Why is that?
Because you are aware of your rights and you do not allow anyone to deceive, cheat or deprive you of them. Isn’t that right?
You do your part in the covenant with God.
You do your duties as a servant, obeying God’s commandments, you are faithful with your tithes and offerings, maintain a pure conscious, etc. But, when it comes time to put bread on the table for your family, you don’t have money.
Its as if the windows of heaven are still closed for you.
How will you react?
Are you going to wait until something falls from the sky into your lap or talk to the One who promised to open them?
This is precisely when your faith boils and you start taking action.
In a surge of anger and indignation against misery, you take the Bible and go for the all or nothing, life or death, and boldly, claim the fulfillment of what is promised before the Lord.
But, there is one thing your faith does not accept: to continue living in the same conditions. After all, your stomach has no patience.
This reaction is the purest expression of faith.
I believe that God has allowed His people to suffer injustice so that they will exercise their faith for their rights and not leave it in a cast of religious habits.
If the possession of the Kingdom of Heaven is done through an aggressive and sacrificial faith, I can imagine that everything else is done in the same manner.
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force," Matthew 11.12

The revolt that withers

"Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away," Matthew 21.18-19
Was it the fig tree’s fault that it wasn’t in season to bear fruit?
Yet, this was not reason enough to save it from withering all the way to the root and die.
The Lord Jesus did not accept an explanation or justification for the fact that He couldn’t find what He needed, when He needed it and this is because He was the Son of God, and could not go through the embarrassment of not finding what He was looking for, of not having what He needed, not having His needs met and His hunger satisfied.
He was the Son and heir of the Sovereign God, and could not have His Father’s name be embarrassed, so the fig tree had to be exterminated because it represented shame.
It cannot be different, in any way, in the life of those who are children of the Almighty. Everything that brings us shame, embarrassment and humiliation should wither to the root.
The children of God should hate anything that brings shame to their Father, because they solely live to glorify Him.
Your shame is the shame of God.
Your needs are the shame of God.
Your hunger is the shame of God.
Your failure is the shame of God.
A fruitless life is the shame of God.
There are no excuses or explanations for shame. It is shame and that’s it! And that is why it should wither all the way to its root and disappear from our lives.
The Lord Jesus did not accept the lack of fruit on a tree. This angered Him to the point where He cursed it. If this is what happened with a fig tree, which does not have the power to glorify Him, imagine how he feels about the lives of those who are called children and servants of God?
REVOLT and desire to wither away your shame to the root!
The Lord Jesus exterminated what brought Him shame, now it's up to us to do the same and use our REVOLT to wither our shame to the root.

This Matters to Everyone

The deliverance that happened to each one of us, and most importantly the miracle of the new birth, is what we want to see happening to everyone. There is a great revolt within us that always leads us to ask the Holy Spirit, “What must we do so that this will happen?”
We have seen people in a process of deliverance who, despite knowing the Bible really well, have not yet been born of God. Some of them have pleasant moments of peace while in the church, but this is short-lived because as soon as they go outside they are faced with the sad reality of their lives.
Could the Lord of heaven and earth be Lord to those who believe in Him only while they are inside the church building, in a way that when they are in the church it’s as if they were in heaven, but when they are outside it ‘s as if they were in hell?
If a person feels good when they are in church, but when they leave they have the same symptoms as when they had their backs turned to God – even if they are good-natured and charitable – they haven’t been truly delivered. There is a demon hiding there!
How can you be free from this torment and take possession of a life with quality?
The Lord Jesus said, “No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house” (Mark 3:27).
This strong man is the devil, the house is the person’s body – which he uses for his dwelling – and the goods is the life that he’s got in his grip.
How can I go into the house of the strong man, tie him up and remove the life from his grip if I am not revolted? It’s impossible! This is why many people are still not delivered. Do you know what is lacking? Revolt. Indignation. Everyone who is “clothed” with this revolt becomes the strongest man.
If you say that the Lord Jesus is your Lord, until when will you tolerate the devil living in your body and owning your life?
Don’t think for a moment that after you’ve been delivered and born of God, the blessings of God will come to you automatically. A thousand times no! Never forget: even with God, the demons that were once inside of you are still between you and your blessings.
If you were able to overcome only with faith and revolt, imagine now with the Holy Spirit. You have faith, the Word of God, and His Spirit.
Revolt against hell and take possession of the abundant life the Lord Jesus brought for us.
