Jesus is the Amen, Revelation 3.14.
But, He is not the Okay to all of the whims of His followers.
They should never forget their position as servants.
While in the days of their flesh, they will be servants just like Jesus was in the days of His flesh, Hebrews 5.8.
Basically, Christians are servants. They are servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For this reason, their will is subject to God and it can never prevail over the Lord’s will.
An abundant life does not give them the right to be lords.
There is One and only One Lord.
Therefore, those who are servants must submit their will to the will of the Lord.
Isn’t that how Jesus considered His Father?
"Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered," Hebrews 5.7-8.
No matter how much more or greater a servant someone is in this world, he will never be lord.
What does this mean?
This means that, despite being a prince, son and servant, if he wants to continue being a servant, he must submit his will to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer: God, in the Name of Jesus, do this or do that..., besides not pleasing the Lord, this will not work.
But this prayer: God, in the Name of Jesus, I request this or that. Nevertheless, may Your will be done.
This kind of prayer always reaches the Throne and receives an okay from the Amen.
It may even seem like the answer takes longer to come, but sooner or later, it will come within the time He has determined.
