They do not want to hear the truth. They do not want to reveal their mistakes or failures because they rather appear to be in the "faith."
However, time passes and their affliction increases.
Where is the solution? It is far! And continues getting further as time passes!
Often, people in Church cry as though they are truly surrendering their life to God.
But why?
Because after they cry, they feel like they are not going to commit the same mistake again. However, the following week, their actions reveal that it was all in vain! Nothing was real!
It was all fake!
But they say: I'm fighting against it and I know God will help me deny my will.
And I say: What!!! God is going to help you?
Sorry my friend, but you need to carefully read what I am going to say.
Before Jesus was arrested, He was in agony, praying to God in the Garden of Gethsemane.  He
said, "If it is Your will, take this cup away from me."Isn’t that what He said?
Yes, it was! But when it came time to prove that He was not only asking, but also giving himself as an offering to God... He surprises us!
"Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?” John 18.3-4
I have no words to describe the Lord Jesus’ attitude.
It was simply beautiful!
He had done nothing. He had not sinned, yet He would go to trial as a criminal and take upon Him the sins of this world, from the beginning of time until the end. He would be far from the Father. Alone. He did all this in order to obey and give the only offering capable of buying our soul from hell.
First, He asked to be spared, but in the end He did not do His will. He faced His problem! And He stepped up, even before the soldiers got close to Him.
If you haven’t done anything wrong, you have nothing to fear!
Whoever is truly willing to obey will sacrifice themselves, step up and do what needs to be done.
But cowards feel humiliated when confronted with a problem. Their pride is their refuge and they will never amount to anything except being the hypocrites of this generation.
The Lord Jesus went up to the men that persecuted Him and asked them what they wanted. Who else would act so boldly, knowing what could happen?
Do you act the same way when confronted with situations that you might have to pay for with society or the Church?
Your actions reveal who you are?
Obs: Not your tears! But your actions!
