The pain of being separated from God – Part 3

While meditating on the pain of those who once had a friendship with God, but now find themselves separated from His love, care and protection, I remembered Saul, the first king of Israel.
Imagine Saul’s desperation when he heard the prophet Samuel say that the Lord had rejected him because he rejected Him, when he disobeyed Him:
"...For you have rejected the word of the Lord and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel…” 1 Samuel 15.26
We can be rejected by the whole world, and still find peace in Jesus. However, if the whole world accepts us but God rejects us, we become the most unfortunate of all men. Being apart from God is like a body without a spirit; it is like tasteless salt – it’s good for nothing.
"And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. So Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today..." 1 Samuel 15.27-28
I would like to warn all those who are disobedient, and find themselves apart from God, whether or not you are in Church: those who have rejected the word of God throughout their life, His mercy, grace, and love have been extended to you. Take advantage of this opportunity while there is still time, because if you leave this world without returning to the arms of God, just like Samuel's robe was torn, any chance of you being saved will also be torn, and the pain of being eternally separated is cruel
"But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out." Luke 13.27-28
If you have fallen away, return to God. We do not know what might happen tomorrow, because tomorrow belongs to God.
Right there, wherever you are reading this message, bow your head in reverence and surrender your life to the Lord Jesus, repent your sins. He is the only One who can save you from the pain of being eternally separated from God.
God bless you!
