Faith against bad thoughts

They appear out of the blue, like flies looking for a place to land.
Good thoughts refresh the soul and make the face cheerful.
Bad thoughts, on the other hand, create doubt, fear, anxiety and worry. They only encourage bad attitudes. They enter the mind only to cause disturbance.
There is no way to stop them from coming, but there is a way to expel them, preventing them from settling into your mind.
How?
Very softly, yet with an audible voice, thank God for His presence in your life; praise the presence of the Holy Spirit; say the name of the Lord Jesus. In other words, speak words that will neutralize the bad thoughts.
Try it!
I'm sure they will disappear.
Moreover, being tempted is not a sin. But giving in to temptation is.
Always be alert and vigilant to react accordingly by the power of faith that is in you.
When they arise, get rid of them by praising God. The truth is that when we speak or pronounce heavenly words, these hellish thoughts leave us.
Remember: when we speak the Word, we direct our thoughts.
When we praise the Lord, we strengthen our thoughts and take the focus off the bad thoughts.
You can call it resisting the devil.
"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4.7
